Much as I don't much care for him, i would have to pick Floyd.

    Second best: JC.

Never thought I'd say it but
Pacman(anyone who can beat 3 mexican legends a total of 6 times must be awarded #1)
Mayweather(mainly for his work at Superfeather)
Joe C.(never thought I'd say that either, but he's reigned supreme for the decade sofar)

Today: 1. Floyd 2. Calzaghe 3. PacMan (Jones is really the fighter of the 90s and the very best of that decade).

Pac could do BIG this year, win a LW title vs. Diaz and win THE title if he faces the lineal champ in the Fall. If he faces Hatton in 2009 and somehow defeats him, that would be another lineal title, but I doubt he can pull it off.

Calzaghe can surpass PBF in 2008 (until Floyd fights Cotto) if he defeats Kelly Pavlik, the lineal MW champ and a P4P-er. That would mean he's got a win over current MW lineal champ/P4P-er, lineal championship and total dominance at SMW and The Ring championship at LHW which is more than Floyd's only one lineal championship in his career which is the WW crown. But if Calzaghe retires, Floyd can easily make it back to the top... (Before anyone starts: I don't really care whether you win AN alphabet title in 13 divisions, winning The Ring title in 2 means a lot more.)
