Darcy beat Eddie McGoorty, George Chip, Jeff Smith (controversially, although from my knowledge he performed well in both fights). Who do you think is the best fighter Darcy likely would've beaten?
Is he in the IBHOF? And if not, should he be in? Seems to me that many non-champions of the old days do get in, while others including champions, don't. But does he merit induction (that is, if he isn't in yet)
No, but I think he should be. But lesser fighters have been. His resume is decent, and he looks pretty good on film. However, he never had been tested against an ATG, although he apparently performed well against someone close to an ATG in Jeff Smith. No film of the fight, but I've seen a few reports say he was winning until the DQ in at least on of their fights.
