"newbie" + "9 posts" + out of the blue provocative comment= obvious troll.

    Nice try though.

    They look hungry though...

I also refuse to have Owen Moran on the list. Maybe some of black murderers row as well. Those are at least comparable to being wbo champion in the '90's.

Owen Moran was an animal. Crossed the Atlantic to knock out Battling Nelson. Easily a top 3-5 greatest UK fighter.

Harold Brazier should be on the list. He lost a razor close decision to Roger Mayweather and a close decision to Juan Coggi. Yaqui Lopez is another one. Very questionable loss to Victor Galindez.

He wasn't with Don King and King controlled the titles at the time. Look what King was able to do with Ruiz. Look how Andrew Golata suddenly got two title shots after signing with Don King. If Tua aligned with King in the early 2000's, I think he would have gotten a shot. As it was, he couldn't seem to get any big fights after the easy KO of Michael Moorer in 2002.

been reading a good bit about him lately.birminghams best?

actually I read somewhere once that mike tyson called him the p4p best ever...but cant verify that....tyson a great student of the history of the sport.

maybe he meant Britain's p4p best...as I know hes a huge joe gans fan and that era of lightweights

Yeah Tyson was a big Moran fan, due to being a Brit fighting like an American. He was a big Nigel Benn fan as well!
