Look ESPN barely covers boxing so they are not the most credible boxing source in my opinion. If the fight gets a lot of publicity they are there (i.e. anything involving DLH, TYSON, MAYWEATHER) but never present form much worthier fights such as Castillo vs. Corrales I.

I have always respected The Ring as the "Bible" of boxing, but they got this one WRONG.

In conclusion I really dont like that website because they are biased and never give Miguel Cotto his just due and stay on Floyds nutsack especially the editor.

So I do not think that they are more credible, but I must comend them for getting this one right!

Great post eze. How is Cotto in the picture is my question as well and I think Kelly edges out Mayweather.

Mayweather - Did well against a much bigger guy, and then put on one of his best displays against the #1 jr welter

Pavlik - Don't particularly rate him, but Miranda is a solid win and then to become undisputed MW champ is a good year in anyones book

    Calzaghe - Yes

Well then, you only seem to respect any of these sites/Magazine's opinions when it is in line with your own opinion, is this not a correct assumption?

This is how Cotto is in the picture!

Cotto's win over Mosley was more convining (UD) than Floyd's win over Oscar (SD). Even Floyd senior said Oscar won that fight.

I think Judah is a way more credible opponent at 147 than Ricky and he beats Hatton at 147 easily by KO.

Plus Cotto stoped Urkal who had never been stoped before, that simple.

Cotto beat the better opposition by a wider margin.

Judah a more credible opponent...what planet are you on?

The guy only fights for 3 rounds these days

How can you respect their opinion when you say their choice was based off of media hype rather than merit? Doesn't seem like you respect their opinion to me.

The only two times that Hatton fought at 147 he got KO by Floyd and he almost got KO'd by Collazo, two guys not known for their power.

Zab on the other hand was the undisputed WW champ of the world with an impressive win over Spinks and by the way all this happened right here on planet earth.

That was quite possibly the biggest nut hug for COtto I have seen.

Floyd should of never had a SD on that card, anyone in their right mind knows Floyd won 7-5 or 8-4. And you go off by what Floyd Sr said? Well Floyd Sr corrected himself and said there was no way Oscar won that fight.

Mosley argubly won on my card, ( was a draw ) and most people will argue Cotto lost then to say that Mayweather lost vs DLH.

Judah more credible after two years? Judah had not won in two years. TWO YEARS. Coming off 2 losses and a NC. Cotto was also staggered and hurt and had to cheat to win.

Urkal, was never stopped before...If I'm not mistaken, Harris TKO 11. So much for being the first to stop Urkal..

Good Job owning yourself. Get facts first.

Okay. Hatton was still the WBA champion when he fought Floyd. And Judah, WAS at ONE TIME, the Undisputed Champion, he was not anymore. He had not won in two years.

Floyds win over Hatton is better then Cotto's over Judah.

WAS being the operative word here

Zab Judah hasn't done **** in years, and was coming off losses as people have said. Hatton is not much smaller than Mayweather, it makes no odds

Spin it how you like, Mayweather beat a young hungry undefeated champion who is recognised as the best jr welter, Cotto beat a gatekeeper that is only dangerous for a few rounds

    Not comparable

Cotto's win over Shane was better than any of Frauds win his entire career.
