Leonard's one of the best of the 1980s, but on my scorecards I had him losing to Hagler and to Hearns (in '89), and he lost to Duran too. He lost three fights in the 80s from where I was sitting.
Not saying his wins and achievements aren't worthy. He's a candidate for sure, but I think he falls a little bit short.

Hagler-easy. Then Spinks. After that probably Pryor (early 80s)

If I put a bet on that you were going to say Hagler, I'd have put a lot of money on it.

Only because it's true. I would have said Leonard except that I in good conscience, cannot utter falsehoods. Hagler was far and away the best just as Jones was the best of his era.

By the way, why didnt Leonard resume with the thumbless gloves after the Hagler fight? Surely you've seen the question posed by Rubber Warrior. You should've answered it.

Also, I'd like to know where you get your pictures of Hagler. I can never seem to find it

Oh yes there is. And if you really believe what you say then why did he dump the thumbless gloves after the Hagler fight?

I'm talking about the ones you use in your avatar all time. I got a photo I ripped out of an old book on Hagler that I'm sure no one else has but I could never get it onto ESB for some reason.

Also, can you answer the question. Why did leonard dump the thumbless gloves after the hagler fight? I can't see any reason unless his eye was never threatened in the first place. and you know what that means right?
