    Leonard. Not that hard.

If Hagler had come back at about 30 after a looong lay-off and beaten even a faded Spinks at lhw even by controversial decision, he would get my vote. But he didn't, it was Leonard who did that to him.

Not as good as Leonard? :huh

My deluded friend, he was better than leonard and he proved it where it counts-in the ring.

So what if Terry lost to a couple of no names? you could say the same for Ezzard Charles, Saad Muhammad, and Roy Jones.

Terry Norris is still far better than someone like pick and choose Leonard with the fake eye injury who failed to cover up his story by discontinuing the thumbless glove. He probably felt the thumbless version was uncomfortable for him.

You know the reason I had leonard figured for an easy win? because he takes too long to find his openings. While Norris once he sees an opening, the punch is there INSTANTANEOUSLY

and then he's back out again, out of range. hagler had that ability once when he was younger.

As for Norris getting knocked out, it was only to the great knockout artist Julian Jackson. Buster Drayton and Herol Graham also met the same fate. And if Ray Leoanrd had dared to cross his path, I feel in my gut that Julian would have not only have knocked him out but putting him in a hospital. Imagine Ray leonard lying flat staring p and taking a snooze Herol Graham style.

Fights with people like Norris and Jackson are not good for people like Leonard.

that's his way of bowing out and telling me he can't counter with a decent argument.

Judging by your response, you could use serious backup.

    Robbi isnt it tho.

Robbi, was that a pic of Leoanrd in your av I saw or did I just imagine it?

DLH is a much better choice

it does'nt matter if you hate him its the fact your being honest as this other guy is completely biased whether he admits it or not and clearly is not being objective in his views

not too many people out there with a pic of Leonard in their avatar.

<-----You see this here guy to the left?

I don't have to feel ashamed because this here is a REAL fighter, a warrior on the same level as Ali himself. A man with the speed and power to humble the most viscious of punchers or the slickest of boxers.

    Ask John Mugabi.

    Ask Ray Leonard

    Ask Meldrick TNT Taylor

and they will all say we got beat by an all time great in the terrible one and are not ashamed to say it.

    'Nuff said!

Whose being dishonest? Not me. I watched Terry kick his butt and it wasnt even close. You're the dishonest one who's bragging about a split decision over a lifeless shell.

He got a split decison over a shell and you're bragging about it. That is unbelievable. But like I said, if you're a leonard fan you got no choice but to lower the bar for him if you want to give him credit.

FYI, I was once a Leonard fan too. I remember after the Hearns fight, I couldnt wait buy the issue to see the coverage because I loved seeing him get the recognition. But from the time I heard the excuses about his eye, he looked fishy to me and I felt duped; that I had put my hopes in the wrong man and history proved me right.

he was nothing more than a charletan and not a real fighter. The retirements and comebacks using his eye to excuse him from action. Where was his excuse to bring him back to the ring? He didnt have one!

Seriously, how dumb could anyone be to believe his story?

what are you talking about terry has been up and down like a yo yo in his carrer , just because he beat a faded leonard you think that makes him better , so I soppose by your logic tervor berbick is an all time boxing master because he beat a 40 year old muhammad ali, seriously , and you call me dumb
