Max Baer, obviously. Joking aside, I always think that Armstrong and Duran look amazing on the tape we have P4P. In absolute terms, Ali and Louis look almost unbeatable at their bests.
Ray Robinson is the best fighter i've seen on film narrowly from Roberto Duran. Then a wee gap maybe, and Muhammad Ali, Joe Louis, Pernell Whitaker, Joe Louis, Roy Jones and Joe Louis.
Duran or Robinson for the best, but the most unbelievable fighter I’ve ever seen fight was Roy Jones jr
Holyfield had very smooth footwork and combinations, smoother than anything I've ever seen in boxing.
Actually, I think Toney mixing it up with Barkley was aesthetically the most pleasing fight I have ever seen he looked like an alien in there.
Although obviously names like Sugar Ray Robinson, Roy Jones Jr, Salvador Sanchez, Jose Napoles, Roberto Duran, etc are gonna appear in this type of conversation. But if I were to tell you one of the best fighters I've seen in the ring is... it would be Emanuel Augustus. I know, pretty weird right? There's something about him that I can't get it out of my head. His record simply just doesn't reflect talents at all. The way he moved in the ring, his combination punching, his footwork and his upper body movement are just so fluid. You can see him throwing while making his opponent's punches miss, the way he just sneak a tight uppercut to Oliveira's chin and slowly moved out of the way is very astonishing. He's just SOOO good and his style is very free. He's a very.. very good fighter and really fun to watch. That's my opinion on him. If I have two list another two best fighters I've ever seen on film, it would be Marvin Hagler and Mike McCallum
Sugar Ray Robinson looks amazing on film. Followed by Jose Napoles and a few others, but SRR definitely.
