-Well, I can't blame you for pathetically backtracking and spinning from such a moronic comment in the face of facts.

-All this "end of decade" and "such and such is better" **** is just completely irrelevant dribble spin, I'm not falling for it or awknowledging it. Your one shitty magician, Jack. I see your cards.

    1. Old, post traumatic-stress disorder Golatta schooled Byrd.

    2. Mercer clearly was the better fighter than Byrd.

Like Jack said, you don't know **** bout' boxing, son.

-I disagree. Because an inspired Golota matches up well against Byrd and had a close disputable draw against him..he is suddenly better than the man with Holyfield, Tua, and Vitali on his resume after a career of dropping the ball? I'm sorry, are we now ranking Jermain Taylor and Calzaghe over Bernard Hopkins?

-Ok, you cool with ranking Ferguson over Mercer? Fergie was robbed in the rematch 4 realz.

-Mercer accomplished dick. In addition to losing to Evander and Lewis in tough fights, he was easily schooled by washed up Holmes and Ferguson in gimme title elimantors. Byrd beat a fit motivated Tua to earn his title shot.

1.1 match only doesn't make a whole career, else you're going to tell me Purritty>Wlad.

    2. Says who?

You can both keep telling yourselves that if it makes you feel better :hi:

What do you want me to say? My original claim was that Byrd would not be top 10 in a strong era, despite occassional appearances in the top 10. At the end of the decade, he wouldn't be considered top 10.

You then mentioned the 90's and I gave you 10 better fighters from the 90's. Byrd would not be considered a top 10 heavyweight in the 90's.

    Simple enough for you?

After looking at your avatar i decided to watch the fight between Lalonde and SRL as the size difference looked a lot and i thought how SRL would deal with it. I have to say, what a great fight! Lalonde was a really good boxer and the size diference was HUGE! The way SRL figured Lalonde out during the fight while Lalonde was on top, was really interesting to see. Then came the 9th round. That has to go down as an all time classic round. Lalonde hit SRL with a huge flurry of power punches in both the head and body and would have finished the majority of boxers, but SRL just came back with his own and knocked Lalonde the hell out. Total breath taking stuff.

Totally awesome and thanks for having it as your avatar!

Oh, trust me.. Golota never achieved more than Byrd, he did however beat him in my eyes and the eyes of many.

Mercer was a decent heavyweight when he was tuned in with his physical ability. You're right though, he was utterly schooled by Holmes and Ferguson.

What did golota ever achieve? Losing all his fights that mattered?
