He's not going to be running away if he isn't afraid of Byrd's lack of power.

Ike went right after Byrd and destroyed him.

I think Haye could do the same thing.

If he doesn't knock him out then he can still win a decision by landing some big punches and the jab.

    He's a legit HW.

Just because he lost to the best out there doesn't prove otherwise.

Haye is always more comfortable on the backfoot & his very low pot-shotting workrate was only 1 punch per round below his average against Wlad. Ike is a far more devastating, bigger, stronger & more powerful Heavyweight than Haye, plus he has a very high workrate of huge bombs. Byrd would make Haye's wide swings frequently miss badly with his slippery headmovement, then counter him cleanly, following up with combinations.

Well, he's bigger and stronger that Byrd, that's for sure )

I'm kinda split between Byrd and Haye.
Can't we have two winners? I mean, since it's OK to have 4 WBA world champs at the same time within the same weight class, that shouldn't be a problem then, right?

In a thread asking who wlad's best opponent was your first post was to say these names are laughable.

Your views on byrd are valid, the sport is subjective. However that wasn't what I was addressing and you know it.

Jack has yet again been owned, there is nothing he can say really. He will likely bring up how **** Chagaev, Ibragimov, Peter and Chambers are now, he rarely posts in any thread without mentioning that, likely he will also proclaim ATG David Haye as the messiah yet again as well, probably, it's his trademark really.

Well, we got our answer with Jack's first post.

In his opinion, Lennox Lewis and Evander Holyfieled were World Champions in weak eras as Byrd was in the top 10(really top 5) almost every year of their reign.

However, considering Byrd got knocked out of the rankings during the start of Wlad's reign. Can we hypothetically assume, Wlad dominated a stronger era than Lewis or Holyfield? :think

At any rate, Calvin Brock was for real. Power, heart, and brains. Its not surprising, he probably took more rounds from Wlad than any fighter in the past 6 years or so.

**** Haye, check out this KNOCKOUT OF THE YEAR winner. Zuri Lawerence isn't all that, but one punch knockouts that nearly kill people like this are few and fare between. And people say Haye was the first puncher Wlad faced...get the **** out.
