he was deceptively young looking though and used to train with elky clark.he could change colour too as he was black when i sparred with him.
This guy, Reino van der Hoek. His pro record is bad because he fought at a weight he had no business being at, and he was too old. His amateur record was very good though, and he fought at European top level. Awesome fighter, even when he's old and fat. I sparred him tonight and I was in awe at what this old man still did. A natural fighter, very very good. http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=8781&cat=boxer
the guy who kicked my ass last night! lol.. i took my first 8 counts last night in all of my 8 fights.. i stuck in there but my corner threw in the towel in the 3rd .. he was getting tired in the 3rd and i was flurrying when the towel came in but i was so behind at that point i guess my trainer just said **** it
Yep it was on but was cancelled after I got beat by Baz Carey a fighter I was embarassed to lose to... some thought I was unfortunate but I was a class above journeyman should never have lost that. My training was a joke.
best pro for me is defo spike http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=434752&cat=boxer and a couple of national champs at senior amateur level jeff whats with the name change
Oh, I have to add Vitalijus Subacius from Lithuania. Heavyweight I've sparred. Currently ranked number 5 in the world. Edit: Amateurs, yeah.
I've sparred with former Aussie feather champ and WBO contender Selwyn Currie (many, many times), Danny Vasquez (former state champ), Geoff Kanofski (state champ), Jamie Myer (state champ). Needless to say, they were all better than me!
