    Good man.

I feel like Calderón and Spinks may be a tad low relative to some others (both spent a reasonable amount of time on p4p lists, which you can't say for guys like Baldomir or, in all likelihood, Selby), and I personally might switch Ottke with Tapia (but am biased, with Mi Vida Loca being among my all-time faves)

    Otherwise very well done.

Paulie & Díaz are definitely close. Shame they never had a rubber match to provide both a h2h and résumé-splitting tiebreaker.

Another guy, like his peer (but never rival in the ring, sadly :verysad) B-Hop with a nickname that evokes imagery of big knockouts incurred early in their careers - when, in retrospective, neither is really thought of that way. :yep

Yeah those two gave me some agita, but I can't erase the K9 and Judah KO's from my memory. I like Tapia, but not quite as much as you, but I like him better than Ottke, but I think Ottke's accomplishments are somewhat greater.

Like I said not perfect but close enough.

Héctor Camacho really was, though largely forgotten, a special talent.

I have even seen him occasionally rated above Félix Trinidad despite the beating he took from the much younger fresher man (Tito debuted a full decade after Macho) and despite the fans revering Trinidad a bit more since he was at, well, the opposite end of the spectrum from Camacho in terms of likelihood on any given night to produce a sensational KO.

I think you could say that Camacho is, with apologies to Miguel Cotto and Iron Boy, the greatest pure boxer from Puerto Rico of the last few decades. :think

edit: wow, actually, just realized Camacho falls even further outside the qualifying period than Whitaker!

My sister hated him, her two favorite fighters in the 80's were Mancini and Leonard. I liked them too, but I had no idea what I was talking about back then.

I loved his flamboyance it appealed to the WWF fan in me, I grew to appreciate his true level of skill the older I got, he was still fighting into the 2000's and had belts into the 90's so he should still make the list.:think

And yes he's the greatest Puerto Rican from the last few decades, Cotto couldn't hold his jock, although I'm sure he'd want too.:yep

Hasegawa is leagues and leagues ahead of Algieri. Hahaha!

Ivan Calderon clearly several spots higher as well.

    Boom!

    Great list.

I'd switch just a couple names a place or two. Very nice.
