Who were the best at fighting while moving backwards? I have one in mind from a fight I saw today.

    Care to start the list?

Mine is Monzon. He is brilliant against Briscoe in their second fight. Great use of distance and countering while moving away from the aggressor. Got a little too nonchalant in round 7 and got nailed. Otherwise brilliant.

its obvious...but yeah....windmilling body punches in at speed as he'd be pushed back...looked like they would come out of the opponents back.

SRR still had his power and Pep could roll or spin and catch you.

Are Holmes and Robinson not mentioned because they are too obvious?

    Hearns?

Leonard was very good boxing off the back foot and was even better coming forward. A true ATG. Could do it all.
