This in not a thread discussing who should be ranked number 1 in each division. It is discussing who would win head to head if all fighters in a division fought.

The only rule is, the fighter must be ranked by Boxrec in that division, so you can't have one guy in multiple division (and being that Pacquiao and Mayweather are ranked in different divisions it'll avoid it becoming one of those threads :yep)

You can place GGG anywhere from 154 to 168 and he'd come out on top

Heavyweight: Wladimir Klitschko. Nobody is beating him anytime soon

Cruiserweight: Krzysztof Wlodarczyk. Very tough one. A few months ago I would've said Rakhim Chakhkiev but Wlod defeated him, then I would've said Guillermo Jones but then news of him juicing putting a huge asterix next to his win over Lebedev. Hernandez and Huck are in the running but I consider both slightly easier to beat than Diablo. Mchunu was impressive against Chambers but that's the only fight of his I've seen and don't feel confident enough to pick him on that evidence.

Light Heavyweight: Sergey Kovalev. Another difficult one because I actually favor Hopkins to beat Kovalev, but think Hopkins would lose to Dawson, who himself would lose to anybody with power. However I don't say with much confidence Hopkins would beat Krusher so he's my choice.

Super Middleweight: Andre Ward. See Wlad.

Middleweight: Gennady Golovkin. I would be surprised to see any Middleweight see the final bell against GGG, including Martinez

Junior Middleweight: Floyd Mayweather Jr. See Ward

Welterweight: Manny Pacquiao. I think JMM 4 actually took more out of Marquez than it did Pacquiao and if there was a 5th fight I favor Pac. Bradley has closed the gap to Pacquiao since the first fight but at this stage I give Pacquiao the slight edge.

Jr Welterweight: Lucas Matthysse. I know Matthysse lost to Garcia but I think he'd win a rematch. I also think Matthysse has more all round ability than Provodnikov. If Amir Khan had a chin, he'd be way out in front here. Unfortunately he does not and the three guys mentioned above would stop him.

Lightweight: Denis Shafikov. One of boxing best kept secrets. He beats Vazquez, Burns, Crawford, Gamboa , Abril and Beltran IMO

Jr Lightweight: Mikey Garica. Future p4p star. Honorable mentions to Takashi Uchiyama and Gary Russell Jr but I think Garcia beats both at this stage

Featherweight: Nonito Donaire. Not the monster he was at the lower weight classes but still capable of beating any Featherweight. Might change my mind if Lomachenko destroys Salido.

Jr Featherweight: Guillermo Rigondeaux. See Mayweather

Bantamweight: Shinsuke Yamanaka. Between him and Moreno. Think Yamanaka's power takes it

Jr Bantamweight: Omar Narvaez. Beatable, but less so than anyone else.

Flyweight: Roman Gonzalez. Lots of good fighter at 112 but Gonzalez is the stand out one.

Jr Flyweight: Naoya Inoue. Between him and Ioka. I'm taking the new kid on the block

Strawweight: Ali Raymi :yep no Carlos Buitrago. Gonna follow in Gonzalez footsteps

Not if you read the thread rules. You can only rate him at Middleweight

Both these guys rated at 154 on Boxrec.

    :readthre:

Pick one of the two at 154 and somebody else at 147

Yeah but I wanted to point that out

    w/e

    Heavyweight: Wlad

    Cruiserweight: Wlodarczyk.

    Light Heavyweight: Kovalev.

    Super Middleweight: Ward.

    Middleweight: GGG

Junior Middleweight: Lara. I don't see Floyd campaigning at JMW anymore and Lara would be an stylistical nightmare for him. I'd favour Lara in a fight.

    Welterweight: Mayweather

Jr Welterweight: Provodnikov. This guy is bad news for everyone in the division, he beat the crap outta Bradley who's way better fighter than Mathysse or Garcia so I have to favour Provo over them. He's also becoming better with each fight.

    Lightweight: Miguel Vazquez

    Jr Lightweight: Mikey Garcia.

Featherweight: Lomachenko. He's another Rigo, forget about the lack of pro experience, nobody is beating this monster anytime soon

    Jr Featherweight: Guillermo Rigondeaux

    Bantamweight:
Yamanaka. I'd usually favour Moreno but he fought a scrub in his last match and didn't look too impressive

    Jr Bantamweight: Omar Narvaez

    Flyweight: Gallo Estrada

I don't care about JFW and SW so my list ends here

:readthre: Mayweather is rated at 154 so you have to pick one of the guys rated at 147 on Boxrec. Vazquez not rated due to inactivity.
