    Calzaghe at 97, I dont even like him but I dont think he should be that high on the list.

    I always to try and avoid putting American fighters on there, unless they really deserve it IMO. The 90s was the beginining of the end of the American domination of the sport. I think if anything else my list reflects that.

    On December 31st 1999 Naseem Hamed was 33-0 and had beaten pretty much the best the division had to offer. Sure in a couple years Lewis would edge out Naseem, as The Prince bumped into a Baby Faced Assassin. But (perhaps wrongly) if they met in the late 90s, Naseem's reputation was such, he would of been a big betting favourite. I try not to use hindsight in these lists and rate people on their reputation at the time.
