Louis stopped both Conn and Walcott given a single opening (Conn due to his own hubris; Walcott because the referee forced the fight.) There is little to suggest he would not have at least a decent chance of stopping any defensive wizard in the history of the sport. Green Foreman beat Peralta twice, handing him the only stoppage at heavyweight in 10th. Gil Clancy Foreman almost stopped Young by his own admission (claimed he was out on his feet and only needed a push to fall over) whilst in the humid heat of San Juan, overlooking Jimmy like most did. Ali was a unique combination of an escape artist and brawler-like chin and grit. The shots he took from Frazier, Norton, Shavers, and Lyle, would hospitalize most I believe. Liston stopping Patterson so fast twice is one of the most frightening display of accuracy ever filmed. In his prime he is not afraid of cagey fighters, though conditioned movers could likely frustrate him. In general all-time great boxers are all a huge threat to each other, with the poorest, most divisive match-up being probably granite chinned punchers enjoying trenches, against pressure fighters, or hard-hitting counterpunchers against sluggers.
