Carlos de Leon v Johnny Nelson seems to be burned into my memory for some reason.

I've never understood that the fights they say are forgetable are anything but!

Calzaghe-Starie was in the same vein and I paid a 100+ quid to watch that ****er live.

If you want a short brawl; Hagler/Hearns is brilliant.

    Fun one; Meza/Garza.

    An amazing longer fight; Pryor/ArguelloI.

In Britain one that rarely gets a mention but was epic; Bassa/McAuleyI.

And for Area title fights; Oliver/Mullings...

Funnily enough TB, Jeffro mentioned Bassa-McAuley I on Facebook this morning.

Some great fights mentioned already but Hearns/Leonard 2 is one of my favourites. The first fight I need to watch properly. I remember trying to watch it but getting pissed off at the poor quality (of the footage, not the skill level of the fighters!) and giving up. The second fight was not only full of drama, but the level of skill on display was elite level. As good as fights like Gatti/Ward and Corrales/Castillo are, you can't say the same about them. Hearns/Leonard 2 had the best of both worlds.

Rios/Alvarado will surely be two names that are forever linked. Great fights.

Marquez/Vasquez 3 is an epic encounter.

I had the 'pleasure' of watching Nelson/Akinwande. It compares with the DeLeon fight...:dead

Ero, if you liked Leonard-Hearns II you'll love the first fight.

^ Yeah mate from what I've heard it's supposed to be even better than the second so I'll have to give it a proper watch sometime soon.

Chacon v Limon 4 is the fight of ages imo. Some come close but nothing beats it. It is everything that makes boxing the greatest sport in the world.

Big spender to be close to the "action" lulz.

Watching on TV was bad enough but I feel better now knowing I didn't waste money on it!
