One of the very best fights of 2007 was Darrell Woods vs. Samuel Miller, an undercard fight on ESPN2 FNF that defied all conceivable expectations and more.

It was so good, that ESPN2 replayed it on another FNF broadcast a couple of weeks later.

Fast paced action with lots of knockdowns, staggerings, and shifts in momentum all over tha place.

One of my favorite fights of this year was Casamayor-Katsidis. It's been overshadowed by some of the more high profile battles of this year, but IMO it was as good as any of them.

    Most underrated fight of 2007 - Vargas-Mayorga.

IMHO, the top three fights from the past two years:

    Vasquez-Marquez III
    Vasquez-Marquez II
    Vasquez-Marquez I

Bika-Codrington is another one nobody's mentioned yet that would be a good one to grab. Holt-Torres II is one of the better one-round fights I've seen.

I liked Abraham vs. Miranda II but in the end it was a onesided beating.
Cotto - Margarito was one for the historybooks

Blood and guts standpoint: Vazquez-Marquez trilogy, Pavlik-Taylor, Bika-Codrington

    Technical standpoint:
Calzaghe-Kessler, Marquez-Barrera (two vastly underrated gems. Hell... watching them the 4th or the 5th time they offer you more hidden quality than Vazquez' and Marquez' all-out favourite slugfests.)

Kessler-Calzaghe should be put in there as well with the trilogy of R. Marquez and Vasquez.
