Woke up and watched Maidana vs Soto Karass, exciting fight while it lasted. Might checkout Karass vs Berto next, was at that one live Damn good fights and my dad ran into Al Bernstein pissing at the urinals that night.

One of my favorite fights. If you haven’t seen it watch it! It was amazing how a 37 year old Duran could beat a prime 28 year old Barkley who had just come off a spectacular TKO of Thomas Hearns. Duran who had been utterly destroyed by Hearns took some monster bombs from Barkley and barely flinched. It’s Incredible that a 5’7, 66 inch reach Duran could stand toe to toe with a 6’1, 74 inch reach big middleweight like Barkley and win the fight. This has to be one of the best boxing performances ever.

Not sure it is the best fight but this is one of my favourites

Carl Thompson weathers the Haye storm; a fight of two halves as Haye tires himself out.

Nice that they sat down in the end in mutual respect.

Wlad simultaneously successfully making his step up to Brit Level and CW Level but obviously he would later go on to fail the step up to Gypsy Level. No shame in that mind.

Tommy Morrison (RIP) unsuccessfully making his his step up to Brit Level

The ''Next Mike Tyson'' Jeffrey ''Left Hook'' Lacy failing to make the step up to Brit Level
