Defended against his no-name (at the time) sparring partner for the Klitschko fight, Meehan, who was his close friend (and friends fighting each other often delivers fireworks). Defended against Andrew Golota, after Golota had just fought Byrd and Ruiz and appeared to have beaten both. Fought Krasniqi in Germany on Max Schmeling's 100th birthday, and the Germans planned on crowning a new champ. Another thriller. Then Brewster finished up with Liakhovich, which was an all-time classic heavyweight title fight. Just great. That was a fun reign.
