    John Ruiz
    1 Evander Holyfield
    2 Hasim Rahman
    3 Andrew Golata
    4 Tony Tucker
    5 Fres Oquendo

    Ruslan Chagaev
    1 Nikolai Valuev
    2 John Ruiz
    3 Fres Oquendo
    4 Francesco Pianeta
    5 Kali Meehan

    Oliver McCall
    1 Lenox Lewis
    2 Larry Holmes
    3 Henry Akinwade
    4 Bruce Seldon
    5 Fres Oquendo

Fres Oquendo is on all three lists lol interesting. John Ruiz has a solid list. All three have an ok list really. McCalls I thought would be a little better after the first big two.

Not really. The voting has been good. You wish Cleveland Williams had more meat on his resume.

Williams has a LOT of D - C fighters. Fighters maybe not known to the public but respected in the community I guess? Not much quality beyond Terrell. Bruno surprised me a little. Along w Loughran (didn’t realize he was that deep). Loughran will def be one of the tops for me. Povetkin is really deep as well. Especially for a modern fighter.

Going to do a number system 1-10
    1Place =10
    2=9
    Etc
Going to wait till a minimum of ten voters over three or four days. Contemplated doing by decade but think it’s easier to do it this way.

    Ruslan Chagaev

    1----Nikolay Valuev
    2----John Ruiz
    3----Kali Meehan
    4----Francesco Pianeta
    5----Vladimir Virchis

    John Ruiz

    1----Evander Holyfield
    2----Hasim Rahman
    3----Andrew Golota
    4----Kirk Johnson
    5----Fres Oquendo

Ruiz keeps up the noble tradition of Willie the Clutch Stribling and Ernie the Anaconda Terrell.

    Oliver McCall

    1----Lennox Lewis
    2----Larry Holmes
    3----Oleg Maskaev
    4----Francesco Damiani
    5----Henry Akinwande

A contender for our final top ten placement with two top ten all time greats, although Holmes was very old.

    contender of the day

    Johnny Risko

    1----Jack Sharkey
    2----Max Baer
    3----Tommy Loughran
    4----Ernie Schaaf
    5----George Godfrey

others---Jack Delaney, Paulino Uzcudun, Phil Scott, Bearcat Wright, Otto von Porat, Jim Maloney, Victorio Campolo, Tom Heeney, King Levinsky, Mickey Walker, Paul Berlenbach, Bob Olin, Tony Galento, Tuffy Griffiths.

I wanted to put this list up as not only an impressive top five, but loads of depth. Was certainly win one, lose one, with a lot of these guys, but most were beaten near their peaks. Baer was green, but the Sharkey and Godfrey wins in 1928 knocked both out of a shot at Tunney (although Godfrey wouldn't have gotten one anyway).

I wanted to throw him out as a possible replacement for one of the weaker candidates, such as Mathis. I certainly think he deserves to be considered.

I wanted to put Oleg for Oliver but I think he was only six fights deep at the time

Valuev was undefeated while Ruiz had some wear and tare by then. At least if I’m remembering correctly. I hold Ruiz over Valuev in the grand scheme of things

Ok gonna make an executive decision. Going to remove Vitali. To much controversy on wether he was lineal or not. That and I think people will vote for him based on ability as opposed to resume...something he lacks (not his fault division was weak and brother was the best contender).
Going to replace him with Tim Witherspoon. But going to do it a little different have till tomorrow to vote on him because I want to keep this moving to the next stage which is the final vote! So besides Chagaev, Ruiz and McCall give me your Witherspoon votes today please
