Best Floyd Patterson fights?

The second and third matches against Johansson, the Quarry matches, all of his fights with Ali are pretty great, just pick one from his resume and you should be good to go.

 

Always exciting. Cus was of opinion that prizefighting style ought to draw crowds.

 

If you want to see his most exciting fight, pick the third match with Johansson - no question as nothing else comes near it (& there are other good ones).

If you want to see him at his best, the second Johansson fight. Arguably his worst is Johansson I, so go figure.

 

After Moore, his next best performances as a HW were probably the Jackson rematch & London.

The Moore bout I’ll bet our Mongoose walked away baffled and never feeling so old. I wonder how he’d adjust in a series.
