Best gloves for sparring?

    only problem with them though is they are to big. great hand protect good ifor defence but rubish for slipping through peoples guards.i have the rival 16oz lace ups now best gloves i have ever used loads ov padding and nt to big

    Reyes is NOT a good sparring glove. It's a puncher's glove brand. Less protection, made to hurt.

    If money is not an issue, get some Winning or Rival. They've got the padding needed for someone who wants good sparring. If you want to force someone to respect you, do the standard thing: throw a harder punch!

    I'd recommend Grant for great hand protection, but they can be quite hard on the face.

    Can you slip on the gloves without someone helping you? Arent these really tight fit?

    Everybody I spar with wears those cheap 16oz Everlast gloves that you can get anywhere, and they hurt. It is frustrating when I wear safety training gloves and they have those. Sometimes it's as if I can literally feel the knuckles.
