    In your own words
"but let us never forget the WBA were the ones who started the alphabet soup era by splitting their belt from the lineage back in the day when they withdrew recognition from Ali as champion"

NBA vs NYSAC occurred long before WBA stripped Ali.

You made a post. I responded. You asked for proof. I provided.

It doesn't matter what life either of us has or how boring either of us is.

WBA did not begin the era of multiple champions in a weight class.

I showed you this wasn't the case.

This isn't a difference of opinion. This is me showing you empirical facts.

The Walker Law was March 1920.

This is, without a doubt, before the late 1970s.

Talking about alphabet soup, and then claiming that litany of initials is somehow excluded is quite disingenuous.

But are you aware WBC stripped Ali for not going to war?

WBC stripped Foster for not facing Conteh.

    WBC stripped Monzon

    WBC stripped Laguna

    WBC stripped Buchanan

    WBC stripped Sanchez

    WBC stripped Jofre

    WBC stripped Pinder

    WBC stripped Burruni

    WBC stripped Salavarria

    All before the late 70’s.

I was well aware of everything you just said

you have been unable to disprove anything I said and have been reduced to arguing semantics which is kinda sad

You've not been aware of any of it.

You made a false claim "but let us never forget the WBA were the ones who started the alphabet soup era by splitting their belt from the lineage back in the day when they withdrew recognition from Ali as champion"

It was just wrong. With out doubt. NYSAC were stripping champions before this. NBA were stripping champions before this. WBC were stripping champions before this.

This isn't a semantic issue, its a you being wrong issue.

    Hmm, "member since: Tuesday".

I'm gonna go ahead and call this one... a TKO in favor of longstanding valuable member of the forum community and legit historian of the game @lufcrazy. Random newb (and probable alt of a banned member, is my growing suspicion) - if you've got a problem with that, by all means vocalize it and see how much guff the mods here brook. :sisi1

George's thread, based on a flawed presmise though it may have been in the first place, has been derailed enough by you walking back and refusing to acknowledge your initial wrongness.

listen fella I’m gunna summarise this as easily as possible because obviously you are a bit slow

what I said is the alphabet soup era started after the WBA stripped ali in the late 70’s

I didn’t claim that there weren’t different organisations recognising different champions before that

when you pointed out that the NYSAC and NBA used to recognise different champions before that on occassion (which I was well aware of) I acknowledged that but then said USUALLY they didn’t

Nothing I said was wrong at all but you couldn’t accept that and kept posting dribble

    now **** off
