    I voted Holy-Bowe I but hadn't realised Foreman Lyle was on there otherwise I'd have gone for that classic.

    naa nothing can top douglas tyson for shock it just totally blew me away tht fight! to me the best heavyweight fight ever!

    Tyson's huge upset loss would be the best epic if there was something more about that fight... Something like the fight happening in the States or Douglas being a known fighter to start with. Basically it was another Cinderella story and had everyting to do with Tyson's aura... There are other stories like that - Ali vs Spinks, Lewis vs Rahman, M. Spinks vs Holmes, Foreman vs Moorer, 36 year old Holyfield against Tyson himself, Rahman vs Maskaev, Sanders vs Klitschko... The biggest epic has to be a tremendous give and take battle for a heavyweight title - Ken Norton vs Larry Holmes 1978.
