    I know you don't mean the same Strikeforce that is considering Batista vs. Lashley. :lol:

    Then if its a current ranking why is Werdum not "THE MAN" because he just beat the man. Oh yea :lol::lol: And no its nothing like ranking Foreman above Vlad if he made a comeback :roll: :lol::lol:

    And whats wrong with Batista Lashley? Go on break it down for us.
    Dana has his brand firmly on Brocks shoulders a former WWE standout. He's said this himself and its blatantly obvious. SF are mooting Batitsta Lashley and now theres a problem? Why? Because its not under the UFC banner? You joyboys are a farce.

    Watch what Fedor did to Rogers. Then watch what Overeem did to Rogers.

    styles make fights though

  7. First he should damn well have to know how to punch, then he should know how to react when getting punched and not just run away, then he should know how to kick, next he should show far more submission skills, then he should fight the best fighters in the world who are proven, and finally he should win more fights, loose less and do this over a long time.

    no i dont think hes better at all i think fedor k.os him, i just look at rankings the same way achilles does!

  9. Fedor lost against a world renowned BJJ artist on the ground in a quick sub which both fighters saw was a mistake in Fedors part who thought that he injured Werdum in one of his flurries. This is basically like a lucky KO.

    Brock on the other hand last for the whole round in a standup exchange against a wrestler with average boxing and kickboxing skills. The only reason he won is because his opponent gassed badly. Also Brock has also lost to a sub from a fighter with below average BJJ skills (as compared with Werdum).

    If the "rankings are generally a what have you done for me lately" type as you say then ANY FIGHTER who won their last fight (no matter their record) should be in the top ten, should this therefore make Ruben Villareal (16-16 record who WON his last fight) of the world a better fighter than Fedor Emelianenko (32-1 record who LOST his last fight), Shane Carwin, Roy Nelson etc?

    Actually I think Fedor has thrashed 40% of the the heavyweight champions that the UFC have ever had. Not only this but he has also beaten the best that K-1 had to offer, Bodog had to offer and Pride had to offer. All these apparently doesnt matter against an unproven 6-1 fighter.

    So by your reckoning a Luis Rueda of this world with 2 wins; 1 loss and 1 draw but who won his last fight should be ranked higher than someone like Roy Jones Jr with 54 wins and 7 losses but lost his last fight?

    Also your Foreman v Klitschko example is wrong since one is retired and the other active. Fedor v Brock on the other hand are both active fighters.

  10. Actually that would be a nightmare match up for Brock Lesnar. Imagine a pro top ten HW boxer versus a top baseballer in a boxing match. Overeem is a top K1 level striker while Brock has sub par striking. The submission game between the two also follows the same vein in favour of Overeem.

    At the moment I don't think anyone is established as the no. 1 in the division. But if I had to rank them it would go like this:

    1. Fabricio Werdum - beat 'the man' in the division puts him top for me
    2. Brock Lesnar - good little run put together
    3. Fedor Emelianenko - was the man but lost, can't drop him much further than that. Could be number 2.

    The rest don't really matter. Put them in any order, no one especially stands out.

    As for Overeem, I a big fan of his but he needs to step up his comp. soon. Luckily it seems as though his next MMA fight will be either Fedor or Werdum.

  12. 1) Fedor has beat 40% of UFC's HW champions
    Pride champions
    K1 champions
    Olympic champions and
    ADCC champions.

    2) Fedor also beat prime Herring faster than Brock Lesnar who only managed to decision a past his prime Herring.

    3)
    Mir = gives up and isnt as good a fighter as many of Fedors opponents. Also not rated as high just prior to the fight as many of Fedors opponents. OVER RATED;

    Randy = garbage record who wasnt a top ten prior to the Brock fight and is no longer a top ten or even a HW fighter. OVER RATED;

    Carwin = come on Carwin is a noob to the sport who only has 1 top ten fight coming into the Brock fight. At the time he also had a similar record to Brett Rogers (prior to Fedor fight). However unlike Carwin, Brett has a bigger gas tank and a deadlier punch. OVER RATED and UNPROVEN.

    4)
    -Show me Brocks better fighting record over Fedor
    -Show me the skills that Brock has showcased during his fights over Fedor
    -Show me the variety of fighters that Brock has fought
    -Show me the variety of champions that Brock has fought from K1 or even other promotions and tell me if these are better than Fedors

  13. As for Brock Lesnar, little is right............he doesnt have much fight and hasnt strung enough wins together. He luckily escaped his last fight against a noob fighter who happen to gas out in 4th minute in a 25 minutes fight.

    Lashley is somewhat comparable to Lesnar, but not nearly as good, because he has a background of some sort. Batista is in his 30s never having done any competitive combat sport training.

    Agreed. But neither does James Toney in MMA. The UFC still made a handsome PPV out of it. Theres absolutely nothing wrong with a Batista Lashley bout if Batista wants it.
