Inspired by Syrup’s Heavyweight Fantasy SS and more specifically the debate around Tyson Fury v Mike Tyson. It’s just a fact that the modern guys would have a major advantage as a result of being much bigger and stronger as the years have gone on, so without this advantage who is the best P4P heavyweight of all time? For example if all guys are kept in proportion but are a 220lb version of themselves (I.e Tyson Fury shrunk to 220lb, Rocky Marciano stretched by 4/5 inches to bring him up to the weight). Personally I think it’s Ali all the way but would be interesting to hear what people think (if my thread makes any sense to anyone but me!)

He will be smaller, so he will loose his height and reach advantage compared to some other HWs. Given that he was never a big puncher, make him smaller and he's even less of a puncher. He will retain his speed, reflexes and stamina, but those won't be enough. Tyson and Frazier will beat him to a pulp. Louis might catch him too if he can time him.
Also, if we make Sam Langford above 6 feet tall and remain all the skills and advantages he had then he'd be as close to unbeatable as anyone. Even large HWs like Lewis, Klitschkos or Foreman wouldn't beat 6'1 and 230 lbs Langford.
He will be competing against Ali, Tyson, Foreman, Holyfield, Liston, Bowe etc, not against McCall or Peter.
