What i liek about Dimitrenko is that he shows a notbale improvement from fight to fight, which shows he's not stagnating. Also the couple of times he has been down, he hasnt really paniced (dont think thats spelt right). He's got good speed and if he can add a bit more pop in his punches i think he can have a decent career at hw and possibly pick up a title. Time will tell i guess.

I wonder how Micheal Hunter will do in the Olympics, he's still qualifying.

Eric Fields would be good if he moves up.

Boytsov is probably one of the best.

Marrone is overrated, he pulled out of a fight with Pianeta.

Is Pianeta any good? He's like 6'5" and e's a southpaw from Italy.

Greenberg has fast hands, and a reasonable KO ratio, but against whom exactly?

Doesn't even seem to be in the mix for a shot at a domestic title, so he can't be all that cracking at all. Eurosport seem to rate him though - they even sacked respected journo Colin Hart for making 'disparaging remarks'.

Greenberg is injured at them moment. He returned from hand surgery last month and had been sparring a little but then he did the hand again so he's out for a while. He's also a lazy git so I really don't see him making an impact on the world scene.

What about Kevin Johnson? He has already fought Robert Hawkins and has a draw against Timur Ibragimov in only his fourth fight.

I've seen Mike Perez' last 2 fights. In his last one he was horribly lethargic against some big donkey from Poland - apparently he wanted to get some rounds in.The fight before that he blew some guy away inside a minute. He is a bit small but has extremely fast hands, good power and is in good shape. He is only 22 and they are keeping him busy so it will be interesting to see how he pans out

Perez has some potenetial if he tightens up. He's got good handspeed and power, but his chin has been untested.

Champman refuses to fight even c level comp. Marrone is athletic in the ring, but not powerful enough, has pourous defense and not a huge punch. He is young but needs a lot of development. Platov was in a slugfest with Williams that was stopped on a cut. Platov had a lot of moments but Williams was winning. Dimitrenko just beat hoffman. Hoffman did well but i believe tested positive for roids after. Dimitrenko does not fight well on the inside and is less powerful and not as quick as wlad. I think he is top ten material but not champion material.

Boytsov, if health and continues to develop will be a big factor

Pianeta any good? Can punch a bit,but hasnt set the world on fire yet.

A decent young heavy, but I bet my house that he is no match for any top fighter.

As for Hunter he wont be the next great American hope. Like Pianeta he is a decent fighter, but I cant really see him take on -successfully-fighters of the upper echelon of the pro game.

perez got injured and still beat the pole easily. The pole went surviual mode after the first round as well, every time perez closed the distance the pole tied him and leaned on him which in itself can tire out an opponent a lot. Also i feel the pole should be given more respect and credit for his survival skills and heart it would have been easier for him to lay down and get his paycheck but he kept going, there is easier ways to earn money than been beaten around a ring.

show some respect for the pole. He is what he is. He is never going to be the most talented boxer but he showed grit and determination And that is admirable. he is trying the best with what he has and just trying to earn a living like everybody else. I feel journeyman get disrespected a lot these days but they are the salt of the earth in boxing and essential, wouldn't you agree?
