Best Heavyweight Prospect

  1. Who (among this list) is the best heavyweight prospect and why?
    >Kevin Johnson 20-0-1 7 ko's
Good resume for an up and comer.
    Good Jab, Great Defense

    >Eddie Chambers 32-1 18ko's
    Lost to Potvetkin
    Decent footwork, too mechanical

    >Chris Arreola 25-0 22 ko's
Beat decent prospects (D. Wills, C. Witherspoon)
    Action fighter, weight a concern?

    >Oleg Platov 26-1 22ko's
    Decent puncher (versus limited competetion)
8 wins against above average (.500) opponents

    >Travis Walker 28-1 22ko's
    Decent shape. Good puncher
    Very limited competetion
    Questionable chin and heart

    >Odlanier Solis 11-0 7ko's
Needs to step way up in competetion
    Great amateur
Tends to be lackadasical at times

    >JD Chapman 29-0 26 ko's
Padded record against low level competetion
    Cruiserweight punch power
Defense and chin questionable? (Will be answered against top 100 guy)

I thought so too, until I saw how bad his defence and conditioning are.:verysad It also concerns me that just a relatively short time ago he was a light heavyweight.

    Arreola by default really.

That's a sad picture of Big Daddy btw.

Once again, let me explain. I am THE biggest fan of Bowe! I have the utmost respect for him. I support him in everything he does, even his attempted "comeback". He is probably my favorite fighter of all time. And I am a pretty big guy myself, so I thought that for my avatar I would choose a pic of my favorite fighter combined with something that represents me. And then I gave it a title... "embrace the chub". I think that everybody should be comfortable with their body type.:D

Oh no I wasn't trying to say anything about you. It's just sort of a perfect summation for the end of Riddick Bowe, from being one of the top heavies in the world to being overweight and out of his mind.

There's nothing wrong with it representing ya, just a lil bleh about Bowe if that makes sense.

  11. That stupid lard ass Tongo mofo. He is pathetic. He called out the KINGPIN, then did about face when KJ agreed to the fight. He claimed not to be in fighting shape. What a disgrace. KJ would KO the fat man in 2 rounds BRUTUALLLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Povetkin and Arreola , closely followed by Chambers... Solis is gaining momentum but needs polishing... think chazz still can do a little something.

There is a little something that makes me wonder about Kevin Johnson..

I just saw Seldon get into thier fight a little too much when any self respectful prospect would have cleaned him outa there earlier..

I think Boytsov is going to make the most noise out of the prospects in the division. The way he fights reminds of a young poor man's Mike Tyson, which should be enough to be one of the best in this sorry division.

Boytsov keeps himself in decent shape with a nice two fisted attack. We don't know what his intangibles are yet because he hasn't really tested himself. He's only fought a 10 rounder once and that was his most recent fight. He has a solid win over the always tough Robert Hawkins who was coming off a nice win over Dominick Guinn.
