best heavyweight

    :deal That's exactly right. I think their careers need to be looked at in their entirety, and how they looked in their prime. Wlads prime seems to be the most impressive; physically, statistically, athletically etc. So that's why I voted for Wlad. Lewis #2, Tyson #3. I'm a HUGE Tyson fan, but he was more exciting than anything. :hi:

    You picked Tyson didn't you? Name one good prime fighter Tyson beat. And how the **** was Mercer not prime?

    Holyfield wasn't weak either. Wlad has a shaky chin let us not forget. Wlad is a fine fighter especially recently but we're talking Holyfield-an aggressive fast iron chinned warrior. Holyfield has enough power to KO Wlad yes he does. Prime Holyfield by TKO8.

    Mike Spinks was a great fighter. He had speed,power and boxing skill plus he was never KO'd before Tyson and he beat Holmes.
    I'm not even saying Tyson was the best ever, I pick many fighters to beat Tyson head to head but Lewis wasn't really better was he?
    If you say Tyson didnt fight anyone good,it's fair to say Lewis didnt fight anyone in their prime is it not?

    Tua was a great fighter yes and he was a strong mother****er. He could have been champion if he fought Tyson's opposition-maybe.

    H2H a fully motivated Lewis is a monster with no 100% blueprint.
    Ali vs Lewis is close to 50/50.

    He was lazy though which cost him two losses.
    But I don't think he would be lazy against other h2h monsters.

    Michael Spinks was a magnificent LHW, not a true HW though, most greats would go through him easily and the Holy, Vitali, and a couple of others that Lewis fought would go right through him.

    Put their records side by side and Tyson isn't anywhere near Lewis imo. Though H2H there's very little in it.

    Saying he wasn't a true heavyweight is unfair. The man was over 200 pounds and solid muscle. Spinks wasn't small. He wasn't ORIGINALLY a heavyweight but this guy KO'd the very big Gerry Cooney! He had the stuff.
