Bowe was not the superior fighter :nono Wladimir has already achieved more than Bowe because Klitschko unified 2 belts, Bowe had a lot to do with why they're separated in the first place.

That's a decent list but I'd put Lewis above Holmes based on successful defenses against stronger competition.

Bowe has the better resume, and was the undisputed champ. The vast majority of people favour Bowe in a head to head matchup as well. Far greater fighter than Wladimir is.

History will remember Bowe largely by his exciting trilogy vs. Evander Holyfield, his refusal to fight Lennox Lewis & how easily Golota smacked him around. Golota later went on to be destroyed by Lennox Lewis if you don't remember. I do. :deal

Start a poll on the subject then! You should include achievements as well as head to head. Probably need 2 separate polls..................

    1) Lewis
    2) Prime Tyson
    3) Holmes

A couple guys who could mess things up for people, the Golata who fought Bowe and Ray Mercer.

How anyone can say that they would rather fight a prime Tyson than Lennox is beyond me...

    For me, at their primes:
    1. Tyson
    2. Holmes
    3. Holyfield

Wlad was destroyed by old Golfer Sanders. Far more embarrasing. Golota was a great fighter in his day, nutcase yes, but a very good fighter. Plus Bowe was shot at that point.

And Bowe never got beat by Puritty and Brewster either.

If I'm going by the criteria that the thread-starter wants us to use, the person I'd least want to face is a prime Mike Tyson.
