I think it's clearly between these six Wilder, Joshua, Fury, Whyte, Povetkin and Pulev I like Pulev here because he uses it the most efficient. But Wilder's power and Fury's strategy could be spoken for. The body jab from Whyte is severely effective and Povetkin's is Very accurate. Joshua's has a nice snap which causes extra damage too
I'll tell you who has the best potential jab!!! WILDER man when he uses that jab its a great punch has alot of power on that punch.. But Wilder, doesn't use the jab near enough if he would that would take him to the next level in this sport
Well it terms of effectiveness I would say Pulev, and Whyte. These two fully understand the benefit of utilising the jab, the most fundamental tool in boxing. Even when they don't need to throw it, and they could just have a breather, they still do it like zombies, because it still scores points. Doesn't even matter if the Jab technique is perfect or not, all that matters is that you are using all your range, and keeping your opponent at bay with it. The jab won many encounters and fights for Whyte, notably the Chisora and Browne fights, knocking the rythm of his opponents and acting as a range finder for setting up killer combinations. I love the Jab
Fury throws 3 jabs whilst pivoting off-line, even seen him throw a 4 jab combo where he goes to the body then 3 times to the head. You don't see heavyweights do this kind of stuff. The other named men can barely double up their jab...and when they do they are static. Fury has skills for days.
If we counting Isyk thrn he has the best. I woulsnt say Fury has the best jab, it appears to be weak. I would say probably Pulev has the best.
Mike hunter jr Easy And mike hunter was outboxing the **** out of usyk the first half of the fight and gassed late. Heavyweight is a diff story though. There will be no gassing.
Most effective... Tyson but Pulev has an amazing jab, he’s just lacking the range but Im sure he has scored a few knockdowns just with his jab + it’s beautifully executed
And the hot take is in and we may have a winner. Maybe the most underrated boxer in the world. Actually a very successful amateur and very competitive on the international level. Dumbest matchmaking move ive seen in a long time. Two prospective blue chip prospects who could both win titles in two divisions and have one of the best rivalries in boxing.............. And they end up fighting in the earliest stages of their careers and development. And youre right, Mikey Hunter Jr. gave Usyk more trouble than any other fighter I've seen him face. And the best part for Hunter fans is he took his L like a man, and has gotten better because of it.
