Best HW jabs today?

His brother Keith is fighting at Sam town next week vs San j. He is a 3 to 1 underdog. Should be a great fight.

I may damn well never make another good or right prediction in my besides this one -- which I GUARANTEE is 100% on the bread -- Mike Jr. Is the most overlooked blue chip prospect/talent in boxing. On everything I know about boxing and all the years I've trained and competed myself, I'm telli g every e right now: Mike Hunter Jr. is an absolute gem and will win at least one title at HW and I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if hes this generations Holyfield -- severely undersized against most true super heavies but with the skill, IQ, athleticism, talent, and style to make for some all out jail breaks. Mike Jr. is gonna be maybe be the biggest sleeper of this generation.

 

Tyson Fury has the only fight changing jab in the top 10 if you ask me. If his right hand matched wilder or joshua, he would be pretty unbeatable. Wilder is too raw/unskilled with his jab. Pulev doesn't manage his range well. Joshua has pretty decent everything but i wouldn't say his jab is lethal. Povetkin has a good jab but hes too short for it to be effective against the big guys.

 

Fury and Pulev. Just a shame niether has the power to back it up. AJ has a massive jab, but needs a stationary target. Parker has an under rated jab and probably uses it best overall, frontfoot, backfoot and to set up the right.

 

That's funny when I bigged him up I didn't know anything about boxing on here according to many ... .( of course that's when he wesnt grabbing headlines a year back ) and won some round against Usyk afterward .

On mike Hunter Jr.

Hes going to struggle with bigger skilled fighters. Hes vulnareable and can be pressed anfd hurt by bigger punchers. I don't see him at all getting a title . He's no Sirenko or Conto ( what you need to be if Joshua is holding them ) .....I see Hunter plateuing to a gate keeper...the division is and will be to stacked for him. Good fighter but good and great are miles apart. He's missing something not sure but he is.

You're making a wrong 100% prediction here, theres guys that will get him and theres about 10 of them, this division is well stacked ,had he been around 4 years ago ,he makes a splash...now ??? I don't see it,.

 

He’s a small heavy, I’m not sure he can beat a fury or Joshua. But a breazeale, prince Charles, Parker, aereloa....easy work. I’ll ride or die with my boxing fam all day though.

 

Read they are looking at Bryan, Joyce, or Parker for hunter. I see those guys turning that fight down.

 

I don't see him beating most top HWs. Just like Usyk he will be good against certain guys or look better but Usyk has the punch volume to out work many guys and defense. The only way Hunter improves is sharper punching and more power, he will lose to big punchers. I'd say he's about Martin level right now.

Joyce would knock him out.

Povetkin doesn't even get a look in with the jab argument. I think in the first 5 against Joshua he didn't land more than 3 jabs. Best jab of them all is 'shades of Ali' Fury.

 

Pulev clearly has the best jab to me. I mean, its a legit world class jab, with Pulev being very good a throwing it at the right distance, and using it whenever he can. He extends his arm beautifully and get full snap on it.

Sadly, it’s almost ALL he does! Most of the time, he is happy just scoring with the jab and doesnt follow up enough. Unless he is in trouble, like in the Dinu fight.

But my point is, that his jab alone is at the very top of the game. It’s the main reason he still only has one L.

Parker and Joyce will not be easy work for Michael Hunter Jr.

Hell even Martin will be a tough night for him.

Yeah he is a good boxer, but he won't break the top 10 so easily let alone the top 3.
