Yes it was a meaningless fight. No body took it serious. That was why he was a 52 - 1 dog. Joshua didn't look like a world better in there but he was winning every round. So not sure by what you mean by "needed late Brit stoppage". Joshua beat a late sub opponent and didn't look spectacular in doing it. Only thing I took from the fight is Takam is a decent heavyweight who has been in with some good opponent and Joshua look like crap and came in to heavy. Wilder taking on Stiverne in my eye is worst. At least Joshua fought an active boxer and not a guy who has been inactive for 2 years and a guy he has beaten.
It would be a massive success if Wilder can fill >12k seats in a 17k arena. It's embarrassing but he's simply that terrible a draw.
