    He told me he sparred Chapo and knew Rosario couldn’t take it to the body when he hit m in the body and Rosario wanted to stop. He said that’s why he knew Chavez was gonna beat him.

    Yes he said Ray Leonard was the best puncher, fastest hands and a great guy who beat him fair and square :p

    Wow, that's deep, Chris. I always felt that Rosario was vulnerable to that physicality thing. Sad because he was one of the ones that could have been better than what he was. In some ways, Juan too.

    I was viewing live when Juan became the only one to ever stop Lockridge in Rocky's 53 bouts, and with a single shot off the ropes at that. But afterwards, it seemed to me that Juan often continued to capture that Lockridge lightning in a bottle bomb for the rest of his career, especially since everybody then knew how dangerous he could be with a single punch, a deadly combination with that steel chin.
