These Best I Faced give a great insight to a fighter pysche. But they are largely ego driven and fighters rarely give credit to fighters who are bitter rivals.
Agreed. The best fighter they faced is invariably one they beat. Rarely any real honesty in these things.
I always try to read this 'best I faced' feature and I thought one of the most honest ones was done by Ruben Olivares. I can't find it, so if anyone else can I would love to see it again. But as I recall, there wasn't a hint of hubris involved with Ruben's answers.
What a horrible post. I guess Weaver should have checked with you prior to giving his opinions. Poor guy can't even give his opinion on who was the best at what without being ridiculed.
He is entitled to his opinion, he is entitled to work the fancy. I am entitled to call it out. No horror on any parties side.
Weaver is one of the biggest what ifs in heavyweight history. If he had been left alone and made several more defenses, a lot of interesting matchup could have been made.
You can say the same about Julian Jackson, He never stop that much people with high level chin. There's hardly a granite chin boxer during his era. The only reason why we all think that Julian Jackson is the hardest puncher is becuz of his devastating highlight reels.
He wasn't actually and i believe that possible/maybe KD was ruled a slip. You've disappointed me Rules i thought you'd have known for sure Kevin Isaac was the first!!!!!
