Who has the best illegal tactic in the game? Floyd and his forearm shivers? Nard and his headbutt? Or Cotto's below the belt punch? All three of these guys are really effective at applying these tactics without being penalized. However, which one is able to apply their tactic the most effectively?

'Nard, but only because he has time and experience on his side. He's done it for more years/defenses than either Cotto or PBF could hope to. He's also the best ******* to put in a foul exactly when it's out of the ref's line of sight.

Bernard's head butt. I originally said Floyd, but then realized that he and Cotto only do their tactics for a certain situation. Hopkins just does it as part of his style.

bhop...because pbf and cotto only use their illegal tactic in certian situations...pbf uses the elbow when his opponents hold him..cotto low blows when he is in trouble...but bhop uses the headbutt alot...he uses it in his combo...straight right then the headbutt almost every time..

1- BHOP because it's always part of his strategy
2- Floyd because I've seen him using it in different fights
3- Cotto because he only done it in 1 fight(I think) and some say he didn't do it on purpose

These are illegal tactics and if the referee deems them to have been deliberate, should result in penalization on the first instance.

You don't get a warning in hockey the first time you highstick. You get a penalty.

If you grab a face mask and start reefing on it in American football, a penalty is assessed.

If you trip a guy who gets past you in soccer, does the ref say " Do that one more time and it's a free kick"?

A deliberate low blow or head butt should result in immediate point(s) deduction, or, if sufficiently serious, a DQ.

Agree, Holyfield should be in the list. But I have to say Hopkins.
Anyway, anyone here noticed Lenox Lewis's back of the head punches?

I totally agree. I reckon it would be too hard to determine just how intentional a low blow really was to make that rule work.

    True.

It would take excellent refereeing to make the determination. And we don't always get that.

it's not on the list but I always thought the way Ali held peoples head down had to be pretty hard on the neck.
