I’m not sure if there’s many fights that can surpass Duran vs Palomino.

Duran`s toe to toe performance v the welterweight Ray Leonard who was one of the most dangerous fighters of that era is up there, no other lightweight in the history of boxing could have gone toe to toe with Leonard for 15 rounds.

Archie Moore had very Duran-esque in-fighting when he got the title against Maxim.

Leonard was a better p4p opponent than Maxim, plus Moore was a light heavy not moving up to fighter the bigger fighter.

I just think in-fighting against the bigger man is more impressive plus Leonard wa a more dangerous finisher than Maxim and had quicker hands.

For me, Zivic taking the title off Armstrong must rate as one of the best, not least because Henry was/is still rated as a great inside fighter, if not the best, so for Zivic to beat him at his own game is something special in my eyes, this from Zivic " maybe any WW in the world could beat me, but I know I can beat Armstrong because he would deliver to my delight " so he did, and gave the brave Armstrong a brutal beating.
    stay safe guys, chat soon.

Ralph Dupas - Charley Scott, I don't know if it is the best of all time, but it's as good as I've seen. Like Duran - Palomino, it's at MSG. This one was originally posted a few years ago by @greynotsoold.

Lot's of good ones mentioned so far. I'm going to go with one that I think is way underated. Ricky Hatton against Koysta Tzysu. Going into that fight, Koysta was a big favorite due to his tremendous straight right hand and his notorious strength but Ricky completely neutralized Koysta's strengths. Ricky made it an ugly fight and didn't give Koysta any room to land that straight right hand.

The spots in Ruben Carter vs George Benton. He took away the “Hurricanes” power well smothering him mentally and spinning him all night. Great work by Benton against someone who can take you out in one punch.
