Rosario was a far better opponent than Haugen.

Yes but if we are talking about the performance and not the opponent..

Plus Haugen wasnt that far off the road from Rosario...

I thought Haugen was pretty average.

He was very good.l He won two world titles and beat Jimmy Paul, who at the time was considered one of the three monsters in the Lightweight division (the Lightweight division in the mid 80s was considered a three-headed monster with Camacho, Bramble and Paul first and then Camacho, Rosario and Paul) Vinny Paz and Hector Camacho Sr. (and a very faded Ray Mancini)

Haugen beat two of the three monsters.

    Average he certainly wasnt'

I know McCallum was the body snatcher but no one looked better or classier going to the body than Arguello

Who followed Julian Jackson as WBA 154 champ, would have loved to have seen Jackson destroy Vinny.

Camacho never proved he was a top light welter.

I'm just gonna list off some very good infighting performances which haven't been mentioned.
I really like this one from Castillo:

    Andre Ward mugging Chad Dawson:

It's a losing effort but Ezzard Charles is a very underrated inside fighter. He was bullying a naturally bigger man in the clinch, especially early on before Marciano came on strong like he always does.

Fullmer beating Robinson in the pocket is very impressive imo.

I of course have to mention Armstrong's mauling of Barney Ross.

Riddick Bowe was really sharp on the inside against Pierre Coetzer.

    Cheers. Duran was absolutely brilliant
in Montreal against Leonard inside and
gave Ray a master class on in close
    Fighting.
Leonard though , learned his lesson well
In New Orleans (2nd fight) wasn't having
    Any of that !!!!

Yeah, Leonard did have a big reach advantage though, so was smart to keep moving on the outside in the rematch.
