Jackson was the middleweight version of Deontay Wilder, all 6 of his losses were by KO. If he couldn't get you outta there, he had a problem

    Thanks for that.
That was next level stuff you don't see in the garden variety boxer. Much of JCC game was understated, not flashy like a Duran but just as potent.

Duran-Leonard 1. When you factor in the performance plus the level of the opponent, an infighting performance gets no better than Duran in Montreal.

Chavez-Rosario was a better performance than Chavez-Haugen. Not even debatable. It's considered one of the best performances of all time for a reason. Chavez-Haugen isnt.

The Rosario fight was PEAK Chavez.

Chavez was slightly past his prime in the Haugen fight.

I'm downright shocked that the thread is 4 pages long and Toney-Barkley hasn't been mentioned yet.

Toney-Jirov and Toney-Williams have been mentioned, but the Barkley fight is Toney's masterpiece.

Nah I say that was more impressive of Leonard that he could try going toe to toe an trading on the inside with Duran than the other way round since fighting that way was one of Durans strengths an not Leonards. He wanted to beat Duran at his own game an of course though he done very well Duran was just better at it an deserve to win the decision

Duran vs Leonard 1 by both fighters. Duran was splendid but Leonard wasnt far behind . that was the greatest level of inside fighting ive ever seen.

Some great inside work from both fighters.

Not the greatest ever, but James Scott vs Yaqui Lopez was a real infighting clinic against a guy who had the skill to try to change the geometry and the grit to fight in a phone booth, and Scott just overwhelmed him.

Another vote for Duran vs Palomino. Chavez vs Rosario is right up there. In the last 30 years Toney's performance against Jirov and Hopkins dismantling of Trinidad were also master pieces.

I saw Paz lose virtually every round against a 44 year old Roberto Duran in 1994 yet he managed to walk out of the ring with his hand raised. He was magical.
