Sorry dude, but your wrong....Floyd is an extremely skilled in-fighter. It's one of the reason he's so hard to beat.

Mayweather is brilliant on the inside , he sits in the pocket with his shoulder forward and picking off the shots perfectly and counters with right hands , uppercuts and bodyshots. Hes a genius inside he really does no how to blunt his oponents attacj

Yeah, I do. It's a guy who's primary tactic is closing the distance and landing punches on the inside.

That's terrific, there are plenty of guys that are good at firing away on the inside "when they choose to". That doesn't make any of them infighters.

I kinda see your point you're saying fighting on the inside isn't his way of fighting even though he can. I should have been more clear. I'm really asking who are the best at fighting on the inside not the best purely inside fighters.:good

I get it. You're looking for fighters that fight well on the inside, not necessarily "inside fighters" in the classic sense.

The question was 'best inside fighters', not 'who fights on the inside the most'

Fact is, is that Mayweather fits the bill of 'one of the best inside fighters' regardless if he 'chooses to fight on the inside as his primary way of fighting or not'. He may not be a classic 'inside fighter', but hes one of the best out there today, regardless.

Yes, but in the terminology of boxing an "inside fighter" has a very specific meaning, so using that term is going to create confusion.

Shouldn't you be able to clinch to be a good inside fighter?

When I think of good inside fighting, I think of James Toney.
