Over the years I have watched shows up an down the country - there's not many world champs I haven't seen live from brook & Khan of today's world, back to Calzaghe & Hatton & too many to mention in between.

However, I am going to say tonight's performance (haven't watched it back on tv yet so may slightly change) was the best I've seen live. Saunders controlled everything & his movement seemed faultless. Literally couldn't fault him & the pace - for a notoriously bad stamina (so they say) was fantastic....! I never knew he was capable of this kind of turn out. I'm a fan, this time last night I was not.

Good on you for being there tonight.

BJS controlled the fight, he was excellent.

Pace of the fight was slow. That's why his stamina didn't drop

You haven't seen many good fights if you thought that was good. I was there too and it was just a slow tactical fight but certainly not a classic.

I'd disagree... I'll average about 9 shows a year, can't remember a main world title fight in England that I didn't attend.

Never have I said IT was a classic - that would require both fighters to do something out of the ordinary. What I said was its the best performance I've seen. And I stand by it.

Grow up? Wow, well aren't you a pleasant person!! Go on out of interest let's have the 10 fighters who would beat him today?
And whilst we're at it - give me 3 fights that can fill a stadium - I'll give you one that has - froch groves 2... There's a reason it hasn't been attempted since - not many can pull it off! Filling stadiums hasn't got a great deal to do with actual fight ability , hence George groves filling Wembley , more to do with the occasion . Now id suggest it may be you who needs to grow up. Well said OP. The timing and accuracy on the right hand that dropped Lee the first time was exceptional, world class boxing.

I'd say selbys masterclass against Gradovich was a better performance, that's just my opinion mind.

The selby was a brilliant performance, though I cannot say I was there at the time. So I can't count is as one I've seen live haha.!

When he loses to CEJ in the rematch you'll understand what I'm saying as CEJ is prob the worst of ten that beat him now. All opinions but proof is in the pudding so just remind yourself of this chat in a few months Fool

I haven't seen this fight (or attended any live) so I'm almost disqualified from having an opinion, but it will have to go some to beat Calzaghe dismantling Lacy.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but let's not rewrite history - many folks thought that Joe was there for the taking that night and instead he broke Lacy.

Come on then, you've given me CEJ (who Saunders has already beaten) as 1 of your 10 who beat him.. Now let's here the other 9,this will be a laugh. Fact is you can't state 4 confidently without exposing yourself as the idiot you are.never mind another 9.

As for cej beating him next time - well we will see,but after watching eubank take as many as he did against a domestic level fighter in spike,I'm not getting carried Away.

    On ye go pal..!
