Best jab at/around welterweight in boxing history?

    He could bust you up with it too i.e. SRL. He set up enormous right hands off the jab and feinting the jab throughout his career.

    You are right easily forgotten that Forest had a very underrated jab, good fighter.

    If it’s just purely jabs John H Stracy always had a decent jab. Whittaker, Leonard, Hearns, Robinson all had excellent jabs. Errol Spence also has a great jab more recently.

    Go rewatch it.....thats the only punch that landed consistent from either fighter.

    I totally forgot about Vernon. He certainly did have an outstanding jab.

    That was the punch both fighters threw the most in that fight.

    I remember late into Gil Clancy's broadcasting career he stated that Emile Griffith had the best jab he had ever seen.

    No way, every round ws close with little landing, boring fight.

    Maurice Blocker at 6-3 had a great jab when he snapped it. Sometimes he didn't.

    Whitaker won clear as day. He was the champ, outlanded him, and dropped him. All oscar did was punch air and put his hands up like he won after every round. But was frustrated as **** and he knew it was a black eye decision. Thats why he said hed give him a rematch but didnt.
