a few more Underrated/rarely mentioned: Accavallo Davila Canto Federico Thompson Kalule Hope Guty Espadas sr. Betulio Gonzalez Sibson Frazier Zarate Chandler A few who while undoubtably capable, i don't rate as highly as might be the consensus.....Louis, Lewis, Hopkins, DLH, Napoles
actually I don't think Foster has been mentioned. he had a hurtful jab for sure Conteh too. put a clinic against Yaqui Lopez with the jab alone
Gotta throw Loughran into the mix. Due to bad hands, that was pretty much all he had as an offensive wepon, and it still won him a lot of fights. Hagler had an excellent jab.
Buster Douglas did own an awesome left jab when he was in the mood to pump it hard.... MR.BILL:bbb:hat
Thomas Hearns His is the most multi-facted and talented jab i have ever seen. He could keep a guy off with it, he could pile up points, he could use it as a precursor for the massive right hand, he could use it to bust someone up etc etc. His speed and reach were phenomenal. It dominated proceedings vs master boxers such as Ray Leonard and Wilfredo Benitez. It sent the wiley Duran up for crashing right hand. It completely blindsided Cuevas. Even at 175 in old age it was mayching it and more against the superb jab of Hill. The list goes on.
