Contender one 1) Middleweight king, and linear champ GGG. Need I say more. Amazing power jab that had Canelo and Jacob on queeer street for most of the fight. I'd probably still have kovalevs at the top off my list but not for much longer.. He really does have a fantastic jab and **** all else atm Golovkin 2nd but again probably not for much longer... Beautiful powerful jab that he's used to dominate most of his fights he didn't blow his opponent out in Really good list
Great list indeed. I've gone for GGG because I could imagine people picking that punch if they were coaching. It's relentless. Must annoy the **** out of his opponents!
If we're talking about best jab in objective terms, if all fought each other, it should be Fury since it's at HW, the longest, and he jabs world level opponents off both sides. He also showed a good power jab in the last fight. Lastly, he can move his glove down mid fight while nobody is looking and send his knuckles out of a hidden peepy hole, making it a devastating power jab. If we're talking most impressive relative performance, maybe Kovalev since he has KO'd I believe two opponents with the jab (Yarde and the guy he bodyshotted with a power jab), so it's a very good jab. But GGG should be mentioned because unlike Fury/Kovalev and other lankier fighters, Golovkin is often fighting at a reach disadvantage and so it's impressive that he out jabs rangier opponents. Let's please mention Wilder too. Fury said Wilder had improved his jab for the rematch and had double-jabbed. Well done to Wilder for improving his jab. It didn't go unnoticed! It's good to see hard work paying off. Okay, he got beaten up and stopped, but take the positives out of it.
Kovalev still has the best jab. But his last bad performance against mini Canelo was the most shocking disappointment in boxing history. Kovalev looked like Goliath and the fight looked like a sparring match. Incredible, like if George Foreman would lose to Roy Jones Junior by KO.
