Just seen Ward-Rodriguez. Couldn't help notice how good Ward's jab was, it was fast, sharp and powerful. Previously I thought Cotto had the best jab, its long range and very powerful, he knocked Clottey down with that jab. What Ward and Cotto have in common is that they're natural lefty's, guessing thats why their jab and left hook is by far their best weapons, same case with ODLH.

Included Floyd for obvious reasons, his jab is nowhere near as powerful and he doesn't use it as often as the other guys but IMO his jab is a lot more versatile. He can use it for power, control and the best jab to the body.

Wlad I'm convinced can win his fights with his right hand tied to his cheek, although having a huge height advantage helps establish a very controlling jab.

Wards jab looked incredible last night.

Apart from the guys you mentioned Groves and Golovkin have 2 of the best jabs in boxing right now imo

Wlad has the best jab. He can win with that punch alone. Mayweather has the most versatile jab. Cotto and Ward have powerful jabs that they time very well and are very disruptive.

Cotto's jab is only good because he's a 1 handed fighter. He is visible proof why leading with a dominant hand is a bad idea.

Ward, mostly due to versatility. He throws a wide variety of jabs, all of which are effective, and he does it consistently against high level competition. Wlad and Cotto both have powerful jabs, but not a lot of variety in the punch, plus in Wlad's case his competition level is so low that it's hard to really judge how "good" his jab is. Floyd has a nice jab when he uses it to the head and body, but he doesn't jab that much.

Wards jab was beaitiful to watch last night. text book pumps the jab out stepping into it with the whole body in one sooth motion and quick too. he would go to the body or faint and shoot back up top. timing perfect just perfect. you wanna learn how to jab thats how you jab.
