No, he just doesn't have a great jab. He's a combination puncher. Doesn't extend it properly or get his legs behind it

I think Vitali doesn't get enough credit for his.
Look at both brothers fight with Peter.
With Wlad Peter managed to force Wlad to hold or get mauled.... Vitali kept Sam at bay all night with just the left hand really.

    Are you serious?

When he joined Roach's gym, everyone was supposedly amazed by his jab. Freddie said it was one of the best hes seen.

Don't agree, his jab vs Malignaggi was phenomenal.. one of the better displays of a good basic jab.

Floyd, young Klitschko, and probably Cotto. Off the top of my head.

Wlad's jab was pretty effective against Tony Thompson who is about his size.

It's easily Wlad. Now, I know he has a height advantage and that's important. But I don't think I've ever seen Wlad outjabbed in a single round. Not a fight mind you, a single round.

I'm gonna try something different here, Wlad has actually a pitter patter jab. What you all are talking about is his STRAIGHT LEFT!! Seriously, watch wlad, he paws out a jab, but throws a seriously hard straight left hand!

    Anyone care to disagree?

    I would say

    Cotto
    Khan
Haye (yes Haye has a very good jab! doesn't throw it much, but looked beautiful when he timed it against Ruiz. Wish he would use it more, it would set up his hard straight right perfectly)

Surprised nobody listed Pacquiao when he actually outjabbed Cotto in their fight?
