I feel that Winky Wright and Wladimir Klitschko make best use of the jab and that is easy to confirm using total punches and jabs stats in their performances. It's almost needless to say that a fighter that uses exclusively one hand has to have a very good technique with it... Just that I believe Winky offsets his opponent with his jab and controls the fight with it and Wlad has a power jab that produces damage and is the perfect weapon to set em up for other big shots.
Larry Holmes last fought in '02 and still had enough to be competitive with perennial contender Oliver McCall as recently as the mid-1990's - Larry's in :good
In that case it's a tie between Lewis and old Holmes. Prime Holmes had the best HW jab I've ever seen. Cue the WALDO nut-huggers
I placed Lewis second just because IKEs were just painful to watch. Lewis had a more versitile Jab I agree..Holmes arguably the best ever
Wlad and at 6-6 or 6-7 he looks like he can hit you from 20 feet away and it's fast and harder than most heavy's powerpunch, he could beat a lot of heavy's with only 1 arm.
That's true & he hooks off it, throws it straight, fast & powerful & more accurate than anyone in the last 15 years at least. He also paws with it as a range finder or to hide the follow up right straight down the pipe.
