Wlad, his jab is unreal, it's rare to see a fighter actually win a fight against some of the best in the division fight after fight, almost solely with the jab. I'm a Wlad hater, but theres no denying his one of kind jab, he made a very tough Lamon Brewster quit in his corner after taking it for 6 rounds, and controlled an entire fight with it against an undefeated champ in his fight against Iggy, the man earned his stripes in that department.

Plenty of good choices, but I'll pick Wlad here. Unfortunately, it's also so good that his fights get more and more boring since he doesn't have to take risks to win lopsided fights now. That jab snaps people's heads back like their head's on a spring, and he throws it with very good speed, reach, and accuracy though. Anybody who wants to beat him now has got to find a way to deal with that, first and foremost.

Yeah, guys like Quartey and Whitaker had nothing on Oscar's jab, as proved in their fights.

Oscar De La Hoya had such a beautiful left hand jab. He cut julio Cesar Chavez with a single left jab a minute into their first fight back in 1996. He then honestly only used his jab against Miguel Angel Gonzalez. Oscar was always considered a one handed fighter throughout his career.

Golota "had" a better jab than Holmes and Wlad. Bowe and Lewis had good jabs too.

    #1 Lewis
    (rest don't matter)

Lewis would have decapitated the fraud overhyped Holmes.

Spoke by someone who obviously doesn't know boxing. Larry Holmes overhyped, lol? You can't be serious right. Holmes wasn't "HYPED" during his championship reign dolt.

Holmes took on all comers including awkward guys unlike Lennox who pointedly said, "he didn't want to fight Chris Byrd" due to Byrd being a southpaw.

Show me any videos existing where Lennox knocked someone down with his jab and I'll show you one on Holmes.

    Back to the disucssion now.

Holmes, Quartey, Hearns (can't believe he wasn't mentioned. Thats what put Ray's out out), Sweet Pea and don't laugh but you'll have to know your boxing to really know this one, Carl The Truth Williams..

Wlad has the best jab of the current bigman era. lewis is just behind. i put wlad's on top because lewis used to paw with it a lot and use the left hand more as a rangefinder for the bigger punches. wlad is more consistent with it and delivers quicker. lewis could throw it from more angles. I'd say they were pretty close in terms of power but klit uses and relies on it more than lennox ever did.
