Marty Jakubowski was another journeyman with a winning record. 118 wins, 7 losses. He was around in the 80s and 90s and got stopped twice by Chavez in non title bouts. All his wins, however were against very low level or inexperienced opponents. He did challenge for a world title three times. However when you look at his record and see the guys he beat to earn his title shot it is obvious that he had no business at world level and he was clearly only brought in for an easy, stay busy defence.
