Liston KO1 Westphal is the most thudding.

For left hooks, Frazier-Zyglewicz is up there.

How is seeing a legend nearly being killed due to inept refereeing funny?

Doesn't neccessarily have to be a legend, either.

Hearns devestating KO of Duran is up there easily. It literally looked like Duran had been struck by a lightning bolt thrown by Zeus himself.

This is why I don't agree that Mercer/Morrison was a 'great knockout'. It was borderline murder and I have trouble watching it. It makes me cringe. Tony Perez should have been fined or suspended for letting Morrison take so much unwarranted punishment. With his hands down by his waist and the ropes holding him up, and against a vicious puncher like Mercer, Morrison was lucky to have escaped alive.

Whenever I think of the best KO that I ever saw I always think of Mike McCallum versus Don Curry. An absolute perfect punch.:good

Because of the shocked look on his face! Too funny, and he is not really a legend by any means.

No fighter deserves to be nearly killed because of poor refereeing.

Reggie Johnson - William Guthrie. It was one of the hardest one-punch KO's I've ever seen.

Amazingly enough, Cuevas got up also. His corner threw in the towel. Can't really recall, Did Duran beat the count?
